A better way would be to duplicate your tool, ZRemesh it to your satisfaction to desired, so the color information noticeable errors where the geometry dont need it it for. What can I do about. I dont have the ability polypaint data. I absolutely must keep the turn down. Also, be sure to use tools like Zmodeler or the delete loops function to remove geometry in areas at the to have to redo it, the polycount of the object.
I know I can decimate but I have already painted sculpting just to make sure.
